very long nvr blog… too lazy to blog… or too tired to blog… who noes…

anyway… have been working for nearly 2 mths already… a fren of mine juz quit today… quite shock… coz she only join the company 3 mths ago… nearly the same time as us… the resignation is triggered by stress? timesheet? chargeability? work? reviews? welcome to the working world… actually now is not even our peak yet… for the past few wks… some of us actually had no job to do and we need to go around to find job… but this wk… my job starts to pile up… and i will keep interact w reviewers, managers and clients… so wat do i felt about my work life? hmm…

LIKE:

friendly environment – everybody are willing to help u…
steep learning curve – really learn alot in the past few wks…
nicely decorated workstation – make me happy everyday…
reviewers – there are always ppl to review ur job… have something to fall bck on or even a way to learn things fast…
rather good working hours – tts compared to auditing…
interactions – interaction skills improving and getting to noe wat r the qns to ask clients…
nicely planned days – work, eat, slp, meet frens, meet bf, shopping, go home, etc…
portfolio – more sense of belonging… coz i have my own portfolio of clients…
sense of satisfaction – after finishing and send out to client or the Comptroller…

DISLIKE:

waking up early in the morning and squeezing myself in the train…
doing billing… where i have to dig into wat ppl have did…
stuff we need to do when we first start an engagement…
photocopying the audit working papers…
datelines…
work piling up…
people keep interrupting ur job…
nasty clients…
targets – KPI – chargeability
getting my pay late…

ha… lazy to think more le… shall stop here… realised that after work… my brain can no longer function well at nite…

hmm… i still haven receive my first pay… argh… my firm HR really quite inefficient… 9 days after my pay day and i have still yet to receive my pay… and it is not because i gave them the wrong acc no. or wat… is they miss out my name in the pay list… can u imagine ur firm actually told u tt… and they didn’t inform you there will be a delay… the worst is they didn’t even noe they NEVER pay me… argh… this is soooo BAD… really pissed with them… then the payroll clerk went on leave and nobody can pay me other than her… then… when she came bck… she actually told me she juz came bck from leave… so need some time to settle before she can issue me my pay… and she was shock that i nvr receive my pay… can you imagine a global firm to have such services… wat is the firm’s belief? they say people first… then y i have yet to receive my pay after 9 days from pay day… argh… anyway… i have my right to sue them too… discover this in the employment act:

Time of payment.
21. —(1) Salary earned by an employee under a contract of service, other than additional payments for overtime work, shall be paid before the expiry of the 7th day after the last day of the salary period in respect of which the salary is payable.

i hope they ll pay me on mon… if not i will have to be pissed over them for so many wkends… making me staying at home… cannot enjoy the happiness and pride of getting the first pay… and being traumatize when i see NO PAY in my acc…

so wats most impt is to pay the employee so that the employee will be happy and serve the customer well.

hmm… had a late celebration of my first anniversary and my bdae w my darling…

juz a simple celebration… but i think the most impt thing will be the company had a buffet lunch at seoul garden… coz i have an offer from being a popular card member… haha… had a rather enjoyable lunch… whenever we go seoul garden and eat… i will always in charge of the soup and he will be in charge of the grilling… not bad… we got mo4 qi4 then we went and catch a movie – fantastic four… really miss lying in his arm and watch movie (coz nvr see him for one wk plus!!!) then after that we juz went and shop in marina square… shop for stuff for my room… then we headed bck to hostel…

ha… i bought a nice stripe tie for him… i think is nice la then he gave me a nice and sweet precious moment figurine… super sweet one… love it man really had a wonderful time… thanks my darling
