Hi all, I changed my hairstyle. So don’t be suprise when you see me. 🙂

My parents don’t like me having straight hair. But I think is still quite okay. A brand new me. 🙂

Bintan trip (3D2N)

Day 1

Reached Bintan at around 11am (Bintan time). The weather was rather cloudy. We managed to check in earlier than 3pm. We were staying at the Mayang Sari Resort, Seahorse room. A rather unique way to differentiate the room. Our rooms were seaview. So when we opened our door, we could see the beach. We just had bread for lunch, then we went to Nirwana Resort Hotel to explore its facilities. We had an ice cream at the pool bar since it was drizzling. Then we went for a swim. Really very nice. Miss swimming very much. Then we had our dinner at the Kelong Restaurant. It was really a very nice restaurant. Althought the dinner was rather expensive, we had a great time eating. The seafood was really fantastic. At night, we just spent our time playing card games and had a good night rest.

Day 2

Woke up rather late this morning. Then we had a stroll at the beach before we went for the mangrove tour in the afternoon. Its rather good to slow down our pace and enjoy life from time to time. We should not let ourseleves always buried in tonnes and tonnes of work in the stressful life in Singapore. We went for the mangrove tour in the afternoon. It was rather expensive (S$33.90). Although we didn’t get to see many animals, we saw snakes, crabs and monkeys. Then, we went to Pasar Oleh Oleh to do massage and have our dinner. The dinner was rather special. We had Korean steamboat. We didn’t even need to cook ourselves. The waiter just stood there and help us cook for the meal. So interesting. Didn’t think this will happen in Singapore. After that, we played battleship and caron. Stephanie was super funny. Just cannot accept that me and my bf had won. Keep challenge us. Luckily after 3 rounds, she gave up.

Day 3

This was the last day in Bintan. Had another late breakfast. Then had a stroll at the beach and look at the beautiful sea. In the afternoon, we had a nice buffet at the Nirwana Hotel and Resort. The food there was rather nice and we were super full. Unfortunately, on the way back to Singapore, I puke all the food out. Think I got motion sickness. Next time really need to eat medicine.

Today is the eighth day of my holiday (counting from after my exam)…

Hmm… Have been slacking at home…. Basically, what I do everyday is pretty similar… Exercise, clean house, watch show, stitch, chat and sleep… Pretty boring life… But luckily still got show to watch, things to stitch and people to chat with me… Haha… Waiting for my holiday to come and work to start…

People must be wondering… Why would I want to start working so fast? Haha… I want to earn my own salary… I want to be financially independent… I really think that will give me a great sense of satisfaction… Anyway, was just informed that I will be going to EY Tax C… So anybody that know anybody joining that group… Remember to tell me… Haha… Had a SMU friend that had her internship there previously… That was such a coincidence… But she said, that group was really good and fun… Hope I will also feel that too… Sometimes… Really felt bad to all the Seniors and Managers in KPMG… Haha… Really miss working with them also… Although many people said that KPMG is not a good working environment… Hmm… But I think, no matter which audit firm we go… It will be the same… I don’t think the welfare will differ by so much… Anyway… I enjoyed my time in KPMG also 🙂 Ha… But many people must be wondering why i never return to KPMG… Because I want to explore more choices… Haha… EY’s overseas training and new office building… I really really hope I will really fit into the EY culture… Wish me luck…

Hmm… Was watching the Aqua Heros yesterday… Don’t know whether it is an old drama series or what… But is a rather nice series show 🙂 Realised I got a habit… I only like to watch the happy parts of the show… Don’t like to watch those parts that have bad people or sad part…. Weird right… Haha… I think is because I think life is tough enough… So there is no need to like watch sad show to make me feel even sad about life… Haha…

Counting to Bintan: 15 days 😛

Finally, gave my little grey tatty teddy a warm bath today… My little grey tatty teddy is having a nice sunbathing in my garden now… Haha… Hope there will be no side effects after washing and drying it… Wish me luck 🙂
